Trimble Positions Desktop Add-In for ArcGIS for TerraSync

Designed for both beginners & intermediate users who are using the Trimble Positions Desktop Add-in along with Trimble TerraSync field software.

Can be taken as a standalone class for those who work primarily in the office preparing and processing field data, or taken along with Day 2 for the full start-to-finish workflow.

This class will cover:

• Geodatabase Creation
• Positions for TerraSync Project Creation & Configuration
• Data Dictionary Modification
• Data Checkout
• Basic TerraSync Data Collection
• Data Processing using the Positions Desktop Add-In

Day 2 | Wednesday, June 21st
TerraSync High Accuracy Field Data Collection

Designed for beginners as well as those looking for a deeper dive into field data collection, specifically on high accuracy devices running Trimble TerraSync.

Can be taken as a standalone class for those who work primarily in the field, or taken along with Day 1 or 3 for the full start-to-finish workflow.

This class will cover:

• GNSS Fundamentals & how this Applies to your Application
• Basic Data Dictionary Creation to get you in the Field Quickly
• TerraSync Settings & Configuration
• Best Practices for the Collection of High Accuracy Data
• Field Data Collection Techniques Including: Nesting, Offsets, Averaged Vertices, Navigation, & Data Update

Day 3 | Thursday, June 22nd
Trimble GPS Pathfinder Office for TerraSync

Designed for both beginners & intermediate users using GPS Pathfinder Office software along with TerraSync field software.

Can be taken as a standalone class for those who work primarily in the office preparing and processing field data, or taken along with Day 2 for the full start-to-finish workflow.

This class will cover:

• Advanced Data Dictionary Creation
• Background Files in Pathfinder Office & TerraSync
• Basic TerraSync Data Collection
• Post-Processing
• Export to GIS or other Format
• Automating Data Processing

TIME: Classes Run from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. / Each Day
COST: $350 per day, $650 for two days, and/or $850 for all three days. / Per Student
