Tech Tip: Attaching the Laser Rangefinder Module

If you have just received your Geo7x Handheld with Integrated Laser Rangefinder Module, this tech tip will demonstrate how to attach the laser rangefinder module so you can start using Trimble’s Flightwave technology. We also recommended regular inspection to ensure the module is securely fastened to the handheld. Attaching the module is simple and can be performed using the provided wrench. The wrench is conveniently built into the module and can pop out when needed.

Simply remove the wrench from its housing and hand-tighten the two silver hex bolts on each side of the rangefinder module. Do not over tighten the bolts! Slide the wrench back into the housing when the module is securely fastened.
