Sun Spot activity has been pretty mild as of late, however this cool event just happened today. It does not really increase the chances of strong magnetic storms, however, things can happen quickly like this that can generate magnetic storms impacting GNSS signals.

 SUNDIVING COMET AND CME: A small comet plunged into the sun this morning. Just before it arrived, the sun expelled a magnificent full-halo CME. Did the comet survive? Find out what happened at http://spaceweather.com.
