Dive deep into aquatic incident management with a specialized class focused on comprehensive systems. AIMS includes a variety of resources, such as training materials, software, boat operations and remotely operated vehicles. It also provides support to responders through a network of regional and national experts. Learn essential skills and techniques for handling aquatic emergencies effectively.

Shane Seagroves
.
Shane started his public safety service in his community in 1986 as a Junior Firefighter at Northview Fire and Rescue where he continues to serve today as Assistant Chief and President of the Board of Directors. Shane’s professional career spanned over 30 years serving the citizens of Lee County before retiring in 2022.
.
Shane is very versed in the emergency services field and he is a proven leader who is dependable and trustworthy. He is a career public servant who functions as an advocate for the citizens while ensuring that common sense and safety are applied in every scenario. Shane is a credentialed NC Executive Emergency Manager and a graduate of the Naval Post Graduate Radiological Emergency Preparedness Executive Education Program. He is a credentialed member of the NC AHIMT and has participated in multiple deployments and academies. He travels extensively across the State to assist with Search Management and Water Rescue & Recovery events.
