Tech Bite Workshop | Trimble SX10: Scanning for Everyday Surveying – Anchorage, AK
January 25, 2017

The Trimble SX10 is a paradigm shift for the survey profession. Laser scanning has long been left to specialized individuals in our industry who could tackle the complex workflows of setup, registration, and modelling. With initial investment and equipment costs providing another hurdle, laser scanning just hasn’t been a solution for civil/survey projects, until now.

The Trimble SX10 is the combination of a high precision, high speed laser scanner that also functions as a total station. Point clouds can now be captured using your current total station workflows with an easy to use interface. In the office, SX10 scan data can easily be transformed to project coordinates and scale factors, seamlessly integrating scanning data with GNSS and optical measurements to create rich and detailed deliverables. Please join us as we introduce the next great leap in survey technology!
