This Frontier Precision Tech Talk demonstrates how to import a Waypoint ASCII file in GPS Pathfinder Office. You may import either of the following file extensions:
- .asc
- .tsv
- .csv
- .txt
Once imported, the waypoint file (.wpt) can be transferred over to a mobile mapping device running TerraSync software. The waypoints are intended for navigation to known coordinates.This workflow is extremely helpful if there are numerous coordinates that a field user needs to navigate to.
