Tech Talk: Updating Trimble R1 Firmware

Updating the Trimble R1 GNSS Receiver firmware is super simple. It only requires an Internet connection to download the firmware, along with a few button clicks. Depending on which firmware you are updating to, it shouldn’t take more than a few minutes of your time. As new software updates get released, it is important to stay on top of your R1’s firmware so that it is compatible to do everything it is supposed to.
