These new rugged external antennas help you increase reception and allow you to be productive while still being accurate  The G5 and G8 are a cost effective solution that helps you achieve your receivers specified level of accuracy when working under dense foliage and urban environments that may typically hinder your receivers performance.

Benefits of using an external antenna include: 

  • Larger ground plane for increased reception and increased multi-path rejection.
  • Elevated antenna to prevent your body and other nearby obstructions from blocking satellite signals.
  • Improved centering and elevation when used with a range pole.
